I painted this a couple weeks ago, I was copying a little vintage stamp of my great grandmothers so I don't even know if it's at all like the real bird out there in the world. My mom and I have been talking about doing nature journalism and watercolors so I figured I'd share them as they come into existence.
by the way, it is really very warm here today, makes me wish it were raining or snowing instead...
